풍물놀이와 연주하는 태평소 시나위를 원곡으로 하여 국악관현악으로 다시 구성해 보았습니다.
징의 울림을 6성부로 구성된 화음으로 조직했습니다. 예전부터 징에서 뻗어 나오는, 거의 화음에 가까운 울림을 소리를 분석하고 만드는 작곡가로써 가만히 내 버려 둘 수가 없더군요. 간단한 작업이지만 이 작업을 해 낼수 있는 기술을 완전히 터득할 때까지 기다렸고, 이제야 해 낼 수 있어서 기쁩니다.

This is Korean traditional music. Taepyeongso Sinawi (Taepyeongso is a wind instrument with a tone similar to Trumpet that of Western instruments, and Sinawi is a type of Sonata in Western music)
The original piece of this work is played by Taepyeong-so and four percussion instruments (called Pungmul-nori). I reconstructed it into orchestra consist of Korean traditional instrument
The ringing of a instrument called Jing, similar to the Gong of Western instruments, was organized into a chord consisting of six voices.Gong's ringing is so plentiful that it sounds like a huge six-string chord. As a composer who analyzes and makes sounds, I could not leave it as simple ringing of percussion. That's why I wrote this Work.
It's a simple task, but I've waited until I've mastered the skills to do this, and I'm happy to be able to do it now.
